  • Scanned computer for codes and found code P2646. This is regarding the engines VTEC components. Two most common issue is the VTEC solenoid and switch assembly and low oil/dirty oil causing the screen to plug up. First noticed the engine is ovedue for an oil change. Drained oil and about 2 quarts of oil was present in the engine. Engine hold 4 quarts. Recommend performing an oil flush and oil change service. If check engine like returns likely the VTEC solenoid and screen assembly will have to be replaced.
  • ROCKER ARM CONTROL SOLENOID – Remove & Replace
  • Lube, Oil and filter change with 27 point inspection. Change oil and filter; lube chassis components; perform 27 point inspection: check filters, belts, hoses, fluids, tires, exhaust and axles; vacuum floors and clean exterior windows.
  • Install Performance service kit #6577, run engine at 1500 RPMS for 15 minutes to desludge and internally clean engine.

  • test drove vehicle found right front seemed to dive when braking/turning and vibration felt like tire out of balance. balanced tires and found them to be very out of balance. checked tire pressures when balancing found that the right front tire only had 18 pounds of air in tire due to beak leak. inspected suspension components everything is intact and tight. suspect diving is due to low tire as when test driving after could not duplicate concern, as for vibration it is gone now after balance.

  • Found the slider door would work every time you tried to open or close the door, hooled up scan tool to see if there is any codes, there are none at this time. We also can see the response for the door latches are all correct. The latches do have a high failure rate so we could replace them but it may not take care of the concern if there is a different issue.

  • Please note, the blower motor did not make noise for us this morning. We let it sit for a while to get cold and retried it but the blower still did not make noise. Brought vehicle inside and listened to it at the blower motor. The bearing sounds a little rough, but we dont have proof this is the source of the noise, Spoke to Cindy and decided to replace the blower motor as the most like source of the noise.
  • CABIN AIR FILTER – Remove & Replace – First Change
